Hydrafacial London
HydraFacial is an award winning non invasive treatment which combines microdermabrasion with active solutions infused into the skin that cleans, resurfaces and treats the skin. This combination is called Hydro-dermabrasion as it involves solutions..
Hydrafacial MD Skin Health for life is recognised world wide in pioneering this multi-step treatment to keep your skin healthy and renewed.
The machine itself is attached to a series of active solutions. After the face is cleansed we perform Lymphatic drainage to open the lymph channels. The hand held probe with its micro-dermabrasion tips attached is then rapidly stroked against the skin surface removing dead skin cells.
After 2 passes of this micro-dermabrasion to ensure the dead skin cell layer is removed, glycolic acid peel solution is applied to the skin to further resurface and remove the dead skin cells. Only minimal tingling is felt.
This peel solution is left on for a few minutes depending on how tolerant your skin is and is then removed.
We then go in with suction and the extraction tip to really clean out your pores whilst infusing the skin with Salicylic acid to help prevent congestion and breakouts. After this stage the skin is like a sponge with all the dead skin layers removed and extraction being done. We then infuse the skin with antioxidants.
After which we finish with 2 forms of LED light. Red light which helps to reduce redness and soothe the skin and help build collagen and elastin. Blue light which is anti inflammatory and lessens the bacteria which plays a part in acne.
The Hydra-facial machine simultaneously works to clean and revitalize your skin with minimal discomfort and downtime. The skin is left smooth and bright.
We can also use the Hydrafacial to treat the back, arms, hands and feet.
In the picture below you see a lady with multiple blocked and congested pores which will be beautifully removed combining the suction power of the device and the ingredients within the solutions which are.
The advanced and patented vortex technology lies within the tip (shown in the diagram) and the device deeply cleanses your skin and delivers botanical ingredients, horse chestnut seed extract, copper, zinc, magnesium and other bio-active ingredients.
No other Hydro-dermabrasion machine creates such a large surface area which in turn increases the amount of time that serums are pressed into the skin, improving their effectiveness as well as improving skin barrier function and hydration by the use of nourishing serums. All in all leaving you skin treated and pampered with his luxe treatment. No wonder thousands of clients worldwide keep returning for more and more hydra-facials.
Combination treatments
ZO SKIN HEALTH BOOSTER SERUMS
Our preferred skin care range is ZO Skin Health due to its powerful formulas and clinical effectiveness.
Although our Standard Hydrafacial is very effective , we are delighted to provide ZO Booster serums which can be chosen as the Ultimate Deluxe Hydra-facial addition which are applied prior to the LED. These have the same ingredients as the ZO Skin care and so enhance your skin care results.
Currently there are two vials
- Brightalive for extra brightening and anti – pigmentation effect, melasma, acne with hyper-pigmentation
- Rozatrol with superior anti redness and anti-inflammatory , for rosacea and red and inflamed skin
We then recommend extending the treatment benefits of these to at home skin care with the ZO Skin Health Range.
HYDRA-GENESIS with Laser Genesis
We are also delighted to combine the Hydra-facial with our Deluxe Hydra-Genesis using our Laser Genesis by Cutera. Laser Genesis is a World leading laser from Cutera and uses micro-pulse technology to gently heat the skin. This is thought to improve collagen, tighten the skin and help reduce acne by causing the sebaceous glands to shrink down.
For our super luxe treatment you can have the Hydra-genesis with ZO Booster serums.
We do recommend that retinol, other acids and benzoyl peroxide in your skin care regime is stopped 3 days prior to your treatment.
Hydrafacial is not recommended if you are Pregnant, Breast feeding, Undergoing cancer treatment, Radiotherapy or have active cold sores.

Hydrafacial London Faq
You can choose to start with Hydrafacial + ZO Booster Serums right from the start. This will give you the ultimate corrective benefits.
However many people start with our standard Hydrafacial which is very effective too. After both we recommend ZO Skin care which will further extend the benefits of the Hydrafacial. This usually means improved results and quicker correction of skin issues and more effective control of chronic skin conditions like Rosacea.
The therapist may suggest a consultation with Dr Prasad if you have a skin lesion which concerns you or an undiagnosed skin condition so that you have an accurate diagnosis and the correct treatment.
We are a bespoke medical skin dermatology clinic. You can choose to have an express Hydrafacial for 30 minutes (without Lymphatic drainage) in your lunch hour or break ready for that evening dinner or our standard 45minute Hydrafacial or our Deluxe treatments for longer.
Please see our price list for all the difference combinations.
Your Hydra-facial will usually be done by our senior therapist. Your appointment includes a consultation to check it is safe and appropriate to perform your treatment. Sometimes we recommend an alternative treatment to achieve the results you want.
We do recommend that retinol, other acids and benzoyl peroxide in your skin care regime is stopped 3 days prior to your treatment.
